I enjoy working with CatholicCare as we have regular staff meetings, regular training and a great team. Also I enjoy meeting different people, learning the language and cultures of my clients. They make me feel like they are my family.

I have worked at CatholicCare Wollongong's Campbelltown Office for just over 7 months, in the Permanency Support Program – previously known as "Foster Care". It’s a time of great change within the sector as a whole, with foundational changes to how children and young people enter formal care, and looking for new pathways for children and young people to more quickly exit care, wherever possible for them to safely do so! The team at CatholicCare have wholeheartedly embraced these changes, making it a very enjoyable, interesting place to work. Every day brings new challenges. We are supported and encouraged by the Leadership Team to develop creative, individualised solutions that best fit the needs of children in care, in ways that preserve dignity and individuality like never before.
This is a terrific time to be working with CatholicCare.
Nicola, Manager Permanency Support Program
I love coming into work every morning knowing that we are making a difference in the community and changing peoples lives for the better. It's great walking into the building and seeing all our clients happy faces as they prepare to go out on social outings. Although I am not on the front line and don’t deal with clients directly, I am fortunate to have such an awesome and supportive team in Finance where I continue to grow and learn on a daily basis. We are a dedicated team that always want what is best for our clients.
Jamie, Financial Accountant & Analyst
