An important notice regarding COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS)
The safety of our clients and staff remains our highest priority. We are monitoring the latest updates from NSW Health and the Australian Government Department of Health regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) risk.
We are strengthening our infection control procedures in our offices, our OOSH centres, and through our at-home support for clients.
In accordance with Australian Government requirements, CatholicCare employees and volunteers who have recently returned from affected countries, or come into close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19, must isolate themselves at home for 14 days.
All clients who are unwell with flu-like symptoms or have been in close contact with a confirmed case, are asked to notify our staff by telephone prior to attending our offices, OOSH centres or receiving an at-home visit. Anyone who has recently travelled to high-risk or moderate-risk countries, should monitor their health and seek medical advice.
We will offer flexibility for our pre-booked clients to postpone client sessions if you are unwell, or if you have recently returned from affected countries. Please contact our staff to discuss the best option to accommodate your needs.
CatholicCare Community Support Workers are trained in infection control and attend regular refresher training. We are continually monitoring our work and our procedures to limit the potential impact of COVID-19.
If you have any concerns or would like to reschedule an appointment, please call 4227 1122 or email enquiries@catholiccare.dow.org.au.
