Social policy high on agenda for Thai Governors visit
A group of Thai Governors visited CatholicCare on Tuesday 23 June to discuss social policy in Australia and Thailand.
In the face of rapid changes in Thailand's economic and social environment, the 22 delegates are on a study tour sponsored by Thailand's Office of the Civil Service Commission (OCSC).
The tour aims to broaden management knowledge and skills of the Governors, who play a vital role in driving strategy for national development in Thailand. The program examines best practice change management, development and innovation in policy areas such as social services, emergency services, agriculture and green construction.
Presentations by senior management of CatholicCare focused on social policy reforms in Australia and systematic approaches to complexity, particularly in aged and disability services and family and children's servics.
