Laudato Si' Strategy 2025+
Laudato Si’, Pope Francis’ landmark encyclical, continues to be a powerful and prophetic call to care for our common home and uphold the dignity of every person through the lens of integral human development - recognising the interconnectedness of social, economic, and environmental justice - remains as relevant today as when it was first published.
At CatholicCare Wollongong, Laudato Si’ has played a key role in shaping how we serve our community. We understand that caring for people and caring for the planet are closely linked, and this understanding continues to guide our work.
In response to this ongoing call and as part of our commitment to Pope Francis’ vision, CatholicCare Wollongong has developed Laudato Si’ Strategy 2025+, which outlines our action plan of long-term priorities around sustainability, reconciliation, and social justice. The Strategy is deeply embedded into our mission, identity, and day-to-day operations.
