It is important that we ensure we can offer you the most appropriate support and so part of our booking process is completing an intake assessment. Please select a time that suits you from the availabilities below, completing the questions in the booking will allow us to register your details, in preparation for the call.
Confidentiality:
Please be aware that while confidentiality is of the utmost importance to us, the workers within our program are mandatory reporters. It means, we are required to release information, in circumstances involving significant harm or risk of significant harm to children or young people, including yourself or others. We may also be subpoenaed to release certain information.
CatholicCare is an approved Family Law Counselling Provider. If you attend Counselling for support around relationship and family breakdown and/or separation, only your counselling notes are protected and will not be disclosed if subpoenaed from the family law court, as explained below:
(1) a family counsellor must not disclose a communication made in family counselling unless a disclosure
is required or authorised under 10D of the Family Law Act 1975.
Intake assessment, group work booking sheets and correspondence is not protected by these provisions.

*If you wish to book into couple or family counselling, please make separate bookings, as we need to complete the intake for each attending member.
