Keeping Kids Connected

CatholicCare’s Keeping Kids Connected Program is designed to support the social, emotional, and educational well-being of students from Kindergarten to Year 6. Using evidence-based strategies, structured activities, and group discussion, the program helps students develop resilience, strengthen peer relationships, and engage positively within their school community.

By fostering collaborative approaches between children, parents, and educators, Keeping Kids Connected provides practical tools to support emotional regulation, social skills development, and overall well-being, ensuring students feel confident and supported in their learning environment.

Year 9 Mental Health Day - Strong Minds, Safe Paths

Strong Minds, Safe Paths empowers Year 9 students to understand their mental health, strengthen their ability to cope with challenges, and develop confidence in seeking help for themselves and others. Using age-appropriate activities and discussion, students learn to recognise early warning signs, practise supportive peer responses, and identify trusted adults and services. The day promotes a culture of care, respect, and connection across the school community.

Building Up Resilience

Building Up Resilience is a strengths-based program that supports students through the transition from upper primary into lower secondary school. The program builds emotional resilience, wellbeing, and practical coping skills to help young people navigate challenges with confidence. Through interactive activities and guided discussion, students strengthen positive peer relationships, develop healthy emotional regulation, and learn when and how to seek support within their school community.

Growing into Me

Growing into Me is a program that supports schools in providing an opportunity for parents and children to understand and explore the physical and emotional changes experienced through the puberty journey.

LivingWorks safeTALK

Suicide is preventable. Anyone can make a difference.

It can be delivered to students aged 15 and over and is also well‑suited for teachers, parents, and other community members who want to feel more confident supporting someone at risk.
