Catholic Education Diocese of Wollongong and CatholicCare Diocese of Wollongong are pleased to announce our cooperation to deliver Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) services at Holy Cross Catholic Parish Primary School, commencing in from Term 1 2026.
What to Expect from CatholicCare
Continuity of Service
CatholicCare will maintain the current operating hours for before and after school care, as well as vacation care. Families can expect a familiar rhythm to their childcare arrangements, including the continuation of popular incursions, excursions, and school holiday programs.
Fee Structure
There will be no immediate changes to the existing fee structure for 2026. CatholicCare is committed to providing affordable care that meets the needs of families, and any future adjustments will be communicated well in advance.
Staffing and Relationships
CatholicCare will be inviting existing staff to apply for roles to ensure continuity and familiarity for children. We value the relationships already formed within the school community and will work closely with the school to support a smooth transition.
Connection to the School Community
CatholicCare’s OSHC services are designed to complement the school environment. Our educators actively engage with school staff and participate in school events to understand current learning objectives to develop shared purpose and fostering a sense of belonging.

Our programs are guided by the principles of the My Time, Our Place learning framework, focusing on play-based learning, emotional wellbeing, and social development. We create inclusive environments where every child feels safe, supported, and inspired to grow.
